Meet the AguaHealth Sanitiser Dispenser

If you read our recent story on our work in making PPE for the NHS, you’ll know that Agua has a long history of working within the healthcare sector. In fact, the very first products we manufactured in 1934 were medical gowns. This connection to healthcare has always been part of Agua’s DNA; our medical gowns might be a recent development, but we’ve been supplying the NHS and other healthcare operators with waterproof, stain resistant and anti-microbial upholstery fabrics since the early 2000s.

Now, COVID-19 has rewritten the rules (quite literally) on what is safe and what’s not in the workplace and in public spaces like bars, restaurants, hotels and cruise liners. To help negotiate this ‘new normal’, we’ve launched AguaHealth, our new healthcare product portfolio, designed to sit alongside our fabrics (all of which have our anti-microbial AguaGuard treatment as standard) and help our clients source practical healthcare solutions for each and every project.

To this end, we are pleased to introduce our new mechanically operated Hand Sanitiser Stations, which – along with our Single-Use Barrier Gowns – are the first products in the AguaHealth arsenal. It is now a requirement in every public environment to have hand sanitiser stations available, and AguaHealth’s station is both practical and robust.

As the video shows, these Sanitiser Stations are as ergonomic as can be. We’ve introduced a foot pedal to ensure they are hands-free, and these operate with a simple mechanical system (no batteries or power required) for improved durability and ease of maintenance. They are free-standing with ‘feet’, and are appropriate for both indoor and outdoor use. They are designed to work with five litre bottles of sanitiser, providing around 2,800 doses of sanitising gel per bottle.

Replacement bottles of sanitiser can be inserted into the station front-on, and the station’s healthy capacity ensures that refills need only be made infrequently. We can offer these either with AguaHealth branding, or own-brand graphics subject to minimum order quantities.
